The Western Regional panel have emphasized the need for comprehensive and effective coordinated efforts for Inspection and Decontamination of Watercrafts. These procedures are based on the Uniform Minimum Protocols and Standards (UMPS III).
WIT Level II Training should accomplish your Learning objectives, but that means homework. Click on WIT II - Student Manual and download the file; Read Chapters 1-5 PRIOR to attending the training. Print and answer the Chapter Review questions in the curriculum, we will review these in class. A passing grade on the final exam is a requirement. Certificates of Completions will be awarded to those prepared and participating in the training exercises.

If you are Traveling – There are several hotel options that are close to training and eateries.
Clothing - Dress for the training should be clothes that can withstand crawling under boats on both dirt and pavement. Footwear should have non-marking soles (so you don't leave marks on the boats while inspecting them) Closed toe shoes are required.
Don't forget your cameras and sunscreen. Bottled water will be provided.
Lunch – we will be having a working lunch and lunch will be delivered to the training class. Lunch will consist of (subject to change) sandwiches or pizza. Should these not work for your special dietary needs, please bring your own brown bag lunch as we will continue to work thru the lunch hour.
Should plans have changed & you cannot make the training, please let us know ASAP.
